Trick-or-Treat Time

I have a few snippets of memory of Halloween night.  Nothing for Halloween day though.

Including no idea what craft my kids are working on here.

But, it look like it was fun.

And then Blake had a work party for the kids... at his work.

We were all zombies this year.  In case you can't tell.  I do remember wondering if it was a little morbid to dress your 2-year old up as a zombie clown.  But, it's what we did.

Blake was not a zombie.  He was a fabulous Napoleon Dynamite.  If I can find the link, some day I'll share with you the dance he did to win his work talent show.  Seriously, amazing.

Zombie Boy.

Apparently, my parents trick-or-treated with us.  Grandpa was a good sport and let us dress him up as Captain Hook.

Getting our zombie on.

Trick-or-Treat!

Yeah, no memory of this.  Are you tired of me saying that?  It's just still weird to me when I look at all of these photos and come up blank.  I do think it very fitting that I was a zombie mom.  Because that is exactly how I describe myself during the 6 weeks of ECT--I was a zombie.

Things You Do In October

In no particular order because I don't remember any of these happenings.

Digging out the nasties!

Love this face

And this cutie.

Confession:  I hate carving pumpkins.

I may have confessed that before.  So I am always super grateful when grandparents are around to help out with the process!

And to accompany us on a preschool field trip.

Apparently, I went on this field trip and took all of these pictures.  I cannot remember a moment of it no matter how I try.

This boy can be the sweetest.  When he's not not the sweetest.

When you know you found THE pumpkin!

When you still aren't sure...

Trey's cute preschool class (most of them).  Lanaya frequently jumped in for these kinds of pics.

Sweet slide!

This just makes me laugh.

The boys

So cute!

These two are like two peas in a pod.  Or, two boys in a barrel.  Best buddies for sure.

Another trip to a pumpkin patch with cousins.

Caramel apples with the other grandparents.  Again, I love love love these faces.

A 5k to replace the Pumpkin Run we used to do back at the North Pole.

Birthday time!  One nephew/cousin...

One uncle/brother/brother-in-law (not actually in this picture, but the kids told me this was his cake and apparently we celebrated here in our home)...

And another nephew/cousin.

Everyone told me that I didn't miss much during the month of October.  But, after looking at these photos, I'd say I missed a lot!  At least it looks like everyone had a lot of fun and I've got a few little memory-helpers around here who enjoy telling me the stories behind these photos.
