Pop Quiz!

See if you can correctly identify the following songs, as sung by Kayli:

1. "Tonight you look so pretty, yes I do!"
2. "My heart is samich (sandwich), samich, samich"
3. "Heathcliff, it's me, Happy!"
4. "It's too late to for a jize"
5. "I can feel you all around me, sickening the air I'm breathing"

Summer Summer Summer Time

I ate a little over an hour ago and I'm starving! What is wrong with me?!
Moving on--we decided to make last weekend's long weekend even longer by having Blake take Friday off of work. A couple weeks ago I got a phone call from one of my greatest friends Caralee. We have been friends for longer than either of us can remember, seriously. It's one of those friendships where we can go forever without chatting but then pick up right where we left off the instant we're together. And most of the time we're together is spent laughing. She's just awesome. Anyway, so she called to tell me she was coming out for a really quick trip and staying with a former mission companion/roommate in Philadelphia, could we meet them in NYC for a day? Of course!
They got a little lost, but finally made it and we were all together again. We started off taking the ferry to see the Statue of Liberty.
This is one of my FAVORITE photos ever of this little guy. Just pay no attention to the behind behind him.
We took at least 30 million photos trying to get a good one of us and Lady Liberty. This is the best we did.
Photo with the Bull. Not really sure what I'm doing with my legs.
Just thought this was adorable.
We went to the MoMA at the end of the day. It's free after 4 PM on Fridays! That's good for us because then we can cruise through it with the kids and not feel guilty about it. Kayli was excited to see a few paintings that are in an art DVD from my mom, including this one. We also saw "Starry Night." It was amazing, of course, but the photo didn't turn out very well. There were tons of people surrounding it.
We did some other fun stuff in between like riding the elevators at the Marriott (what trip to NYC is complete without that?), seeing Times Square and Rockefeller Center, chasing pigeons, eating, and a whole lot of walking. It seems like we did some other stuff too, but I can't remember right now. It was a long but great day. The kids were really great, all things considered. It helped that Caralee and Sarah provided a distraction for them. Kayli and Sarah especially hit it off together. I will be forever grateful for the games she played with my daughter to make the day so much more fun for her. Thank you both so much for coming!!!

The rest of the weekend was very fun as well. Saturday we worked out at the gym, accidentally attended the Newington Parade, I tried on some triathlon clothing and set things up for my bike rental, and cleaned the chapel. Sunday we relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful weather with a walk after church. Monday we drove up to a nearby reservoir and Blake walked with the kids while I ran about 6 1/2 miles. Not my longest run, but it definitely feels different outside versus the treadmill. I'm so grateful to my sweetie for how helpful and supportive he has been with this whole thing. I definitely had no idea what I was getting into when I decided to do a triathlon! Just two and a half more weeks!!!
Anyway, we also went to our Ward Picnic/Barbecue. It was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed hanging out with friends and playing some games. I shamed myself in the softball game, but Blake did a great job!
Here are some more random photos from the weekend.
This is a brownie pie I made just for fun. It is delicious!
Now that it's warm, we occasionally open the sunroof in my car. Kayli always wants to stick her head out and take a picture. Blake is trying to balance both of them and keep Bryce from licking the top of the car (EWWW!!!).
This is my favorite intersection ever. For some reason, they built 4 different roads that kind of merge in the middle. It's hard to fully appreciate without an aerial view (or driving right through the middle on a dark and snowy night), but I did my best.
This is taken from a side street. You can see four streets on the left of the intersection and three coming up from the right. The good thing is that they are all one-way.
This is from the side that was the "right side" in the above photo. You can see the three cars driving to kind of help with perspective. Every time I really look at this intersection I am completely baffled. What were they thinking?!

I've Got a Golden Ticket!

Well, Bryce turned a corner last weekend and started sleeping in again. Not as late as he used to, but I'm not complaining any more. Sorry for sharing all my grumpies with you. I'm feeling much happier these days.
On Saturday we went down to New Haven for an Indiana Jones-themed celebration. Part of it was filmed down there, so the city wanted to celebrate before it opens this weekend. Our friends the Ryders joined us. There was music, a car show, random street performers, and people walking around dressed from the movie. Kayli's favorite part was the bouncy castle. Mine was the French lady dressed in a neon orange bikini with neon pink tights doing an "aerial dance". It was bizarre to say the least. Actually, my favorite part was the ticket give aways because... WE WON!!! They called yesterday to tell me that I won a pair of movie tickets. The only catch is that they are for a theater down in New Haven. But the gas to drive down there probably costs less than tickets at the theater, so it's still a good deal. Anyone want to babysit?!
Bryce opened the patio door, walked out, and brought back the broom. What a determined little helper!
Kayli the butterfly princess. She's also wearing a bride's veil. Isn't she adorable?
A new twist--the kids took turns bringing me items from the dress-ups to put on.
Wizard Bryce, with his backpack. Must be off to Hogwarts.
He heard that all truly great wizards have scars, so he fell and got that lovely mark on his face from the couch corner. So, here's ScarFace feeding himself! He does fairly well, but at some point I usually catch him holding the spoon with one hand while stuffing his face with the other.
The car show. We think some of these were involved in the film. It's always fun to see old cars, anyway.
Kayli walked up to her and said, "I'm not bery tall." We were pretty amazed with this girl. She actually reached down to give Kayli a "high" five.
Christy, the kids, and me at Yale. It is such a beautiful campus.
This tower is in the movie!
Blake thought this was a very picturesque gate.

This is how Kayli ended the day. In case you can't tell, this is the curb at an intersection. But she insisted that she wasn't tired.

And lastly, I thought I'd share one of our favorite summer treats:
Frozen Go-Gurt!
Has anybody ever seen these in a light variety? The kids love them, but I hate to give them so much sugar.

These Pants Are Not So Stinky After All

Blake was somewhat repulsed by my blog title yesterday. Looks like that name is even more inside of an inside joke than I realize. There are possibly two other readers of this blog who know the true meaning of "Grumpily Wumpily Stinky Pants", and for the rest of you, it has nothing to do with having smelly pants.
On a similar note, a member of the daycare staff at my gym told me today that Bryce's dirty diapers don't really smell, like other children's. Wow. Um... thanks? But she is one of my favorite people because she is so wonderful with my son. Bryce actually reaches out for her when we arrive every morning. That's no small feat, given his attachment to me.
Speaking of Bryce, he did sleep in a little this morning. Sort of. He woke up, but then fell back asleep. So I knew this was probably the answer to all of our prayers (thanks for your contributions) and I got up and did my scripture study, even though it was still earlier than I wanted to be awake. Not ideal, but I knew that the moments of peaceful meditation would do a lot more for me than a few more minutes of sleep. But given that tomorrow is a Saturday, tonight could we all pray for me to get both? Because getting the more important of the two definitely improves my mood, but I'll be honest, I'm still a little grumpy from the sleep deprivation.
However, Kayli has me trumped in the Grumpiness Category today. She is so hormonal! Seriously? She's three! And I hear the sweet sounds of her waking up from her nap. Wish me luck!
P.S. We are considering a trip to Philadelphia and D.C. this summer. We pretty much know what we want to do in D.C., but do any of you have suggestions for Philly?

Mrs. Grumpily Wumpily Stinky Pants

There. It's not even that fantastic, but that is the photo I accidentally deleted.
So, I have this problem--if I don't have some time on my own in the morning to fully wake up, I kind of turn into a monster. And it's not like the monster goes away once I am fully awake. Nope, it's pretty much here for the rest of the day. I try to shake it, but no good. So, I settled into a routine where I woke up at about 6:30-6:45 and did my scripture study and then some stretches or some other reading until Kayli woke up and came into our room every morning. And I was the best mommy in the world. She would slowly slide open the door and I'd immediately put down whatever I was doing to throw my arms open wide for a big hug. She'd come running and we'd just have a good snuggle for a few minutes. Those of you who know Kayli know that snuggling with her is rare opportunity, but when she's still sleepy and half-awake, the moment is perfect. Now back to Monster Mommy. I've been struggling to get up that early since we got back from our trip. But we were managing by keeping Kayli's alarm clock set back one hour. She knows she has to wait until the first number is a 7 to get up and can't figure out why ours is always an 8. But she's obedient anyway.
Enter the problem, we decided to finally bite the bullet on Tuesday and begin weaning Bryce from the pacifier. He's actually not doing terribly. Kayli cried for at least an hour before falling asleep each time for the first week of the weaning process. Bryce gives in after only about 5-10 minutes. But he's been waking up before 6 AM! So, I am forced into consciousness by a fussy baby who has no interest in going back to sleep, even when offered the the comfort of our bed. And out comes the Mommy Monster. The good news is that I recognize that I have no business being grumpy, so once I've had breakfast I can usually at least fake a happy mood. But there is no "faking it till I make it". I'm doomed to the grumpies until I wake up tomorrow morning. Let us all pray that Bryce sleeps in. Just a little. Please?

Spring has Sprung

Well, this promises to be another long entry. But here are the Old Sturbridge photos, as promised. It was so great to have my parents and my Aunt Karen here. She's my mom's youngest sister and has always been a bit of a surrogate mother for my siblings and me when my mom isn't around. She's an incredible photographer and chef, among about a zillion other things. Maybe I'll post some of her shots when I get them. Or you can check out the great ones my friend Deon took here. She went a couple weeks before and gave us the idea to go.
These cute little lambs welcomed us as we entered the village. And I just accidentally deleted the photo. I really don't feel like re-posting it, so you'll have to just imagine. One kept frolicking and leaping like the little reindeer in "Rudolph". It was so cute! The kids really got into it. Bryce kept yelling, "Ba! Ba!" I'm not sure if he was trying to sound like a sheep, or if it was just his demonstration of enthusiasm.

Kayli, trying to climb in and join the lambs.

Could it possibly get more fun than this?

Meeting the oxen, Edward and Henry (I think)

Learning to write with a feather quill
Doesn't she make a cute little 18th Century girl? Except that we read that the children typically woke up around 4 AM. Yuck!
They used these stilts for practical purposes--apparently, it's less tiring to walk long distances using these. That is assuming that you can balance on them long enough to take a step. Blake was pretty good in spite of his interesting grip.
I think my mom won for best technique. She did very well.
I tried as well, but you will have to wait for a picture of that because only my Aunt Karen captured the significant moment.
Kayli got in on the fun
Chopping firewood. Blake would have been so helpful back then. Although, the Cooper did not agree. He leaned out the window shortly after I shot this to rebuke Blake for chopping up his "coopering wood". Oops!
Catching some dinner!
All that training has really been paying off!
It was a bit more of a strain for Blake.
It was a great day of fun, but we were all very exhausted by the end of it. It's a fairly large village. We ended the day with some dinner at Panera Bread--my favorite restaurant. That's right, this Year of Commitment is already paying off. I have a favorite something! The food was delicious, as always. And if you want to know how to get a partial refund on your meal, plus an extra meal, ask my mom for tips.
The next evening, we went to Elisabeth Rose Garden. Unfortunately, we're still more than about a month away from the roses actually being in bloom. But there were several flowers already blooming, so it was still beautiful.
Did you know that such a thing as white lilac existed? We decided they smell the best too.
This is my favorite of all the different varieties in the tulip garden.
And this was Bryce's favorite. I hope tulips are edible.
My lovely Aunt Karen! She's usually the one behind the camera lens. She takes AMAZING photos! Like Megan's engagements and bridals.
Kayli with "Gwampa Woger".

Earlier in the week, we had some fun just enjoying being together as a family again.
Here is the Spring Picture for Blake Road.
This doesn't come close to showing how spectacularly beautiful it is around here right now, but I had to shoot it on Blake Road to get my complete set of seasons.
We decided to check out Cabela's last week. Blake and the kids went with my brother and some other family in between the wedding luncheon and reception while we were in Utah. Kayli can't stop talking about it, so they had to show it to me.
On the drive over, Bryce took his shoes off and then tried to put them back on again. I couldn't get the best angle from the front seat, but they are just set on the toes of the wrong feet. I thought it was really funny.
They had a target shooting area. Kayli posed like this all on her own just as I took the picture. She looks really worried, but was really loving it. Especially whenever Daddy would shoot the skunk. Those of you who've been around her lately know that she's a little obsessed with skunks right now. I fink I smell somefing!

We had to try this awesome hat on Bryce

Ever heard of the "FitFlop"? For anyone looking for a simple way to tone your lower body this summer, I came across this yesterday. I read some very positive testimonials, but this type of thing always seems a little shady to me. However, I do live in flip flops during the summer. If I can improve my posture and musculature at the same time, perhaps it's worth it. A lot of people say they're ugly, but I don't think they look that bad. I might have to find a retailer and go try them in person.

Mother's Day Blessings

Unless you're really really paying attention, you probably haven't noticed that my triathlon counter is totally off. What's sad is that it's been off the whole time and I only figured it out about a month ago. But it's about a month off. And now it's even further off because I switched triathlons. Now I'm doing one on June 14th. It's still Olympic distance, just sooner and at a closer location. I officially registered for it today. It had me sign off on two things saying that I absolve them of any responsibility if I get seriously injured, or die, or something. Wish me luck!

I hope you all had fabulous Mother's Days, as I did. My parents and Aunt Karen came out early Saturday morning. We drove up to Old Sturbridge Village in Massachusettes. It's late, so I'll blog more about that later. But it was awesome and so much fun because of the fabulous people I was with.

Mother's Day was so great for so many reasons--I got to be with some of my favorite people (including my own sweet mother), I had a lovely chocolate high from the Chocolate Tuffle Bomb that Blake got me from Stew Leonard's the night before, Kayli sang a fantastic rendition of "My Mother Dear" in Sacrament Meeting. And this year I was a lot more aware of the blessing my children are in my life, so the day was a lot more meaningful.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. I really need to rest up to keep up with my training. We just wanted to leave you with a cute video of Kayli singing "Hey there, Delilah". Enjoy!

The Much-Anticipated Easter Photos!

One Wedding and Some Funeral Potatoes

Let me tell you a really long story...
We left our house Monday morning and headed to NY. We stopped along the way for a photo appointment for the kids. I'll discuss that in another post though. We went to my parents' home and then I took the kids to the park while my parents picked up the rental car. We had a lot of family and Kayli adopted another family at the park, as usual.
We got up at 3:30 AM Tuesday morning so we could catch our early flight out. It was rough, but we landed in Utah a little after noon. Thank you so much, Mom and Dad for all your help on the flight. I never would have survived it without you! And it was snowing! I thought it was spring, but not yet. Between the snow and my extreme fatigue, I decided I would not be safe enough behind the wheel to drive to Provo to be with Megan while she went to the temple for the first time. Instead I went to bed early to try to catch up on some sleep.
The day after we flew in my friend Linsey and her family came up to Blake's parents' home for a visit. We've been friends for nearly forever and I just love her. It was great to see her and her cute family. Derek, I'm sorry I forgot it was your birthday! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Kayli and Braedon working on the sharing concept.
Kayli took this shot. Not too bad!
Kayli has been talking about "jumping on the tramp" ever since last summer, so she spent a great deal of time out there. It was especially fun when her cousins Ella and Christian could join her.
Kayli couldn't leave the cats and dogs alone. The dogs put up with it a little better than the cats. Poor cats.
Friday the weather was nice, so we decided to head to the Hogle Zoo. So did the rest of Salt Lake Valley. It was so packed. It took 45 minutes (if I remember correctly) just to buy our tickets. Bryce was already into a meltdown long before we reached the ticket counter. But all the kids ended up doing pretty well and we had a lot of fun.
This was the first exhibit where Bryce actually realized we were looking at animals. I literally had to pry his fingers off the fence. He kept trying to climb in.
Yay Giraffe!
Break for lunch. I had to include this photo because Kayli is actually looking at the camera AND smiling. Wow.
We have a picture of Blake doing this when he was a few years older. She's almost the size of a gorilla.
Kayli and Christian had a blast dancing around as the elephant 'sang' "Pop Goes the Wiesel". Kayli kind of dragged him around, but he seemed to be enjoying himself.
Not surprisingly, these three could not get enough of Grandma Cindy.
We wrapped up our zoo visit with a train ride. That might have been the best part of the day. Bryce was alternating screaming with joy and clapping his hands and even took the occasional break to flash me an excited smile. It was really cute. Kayli had a blast too, but she was enjoying her ride a couple rows up with Grandma.
After the zoo I caught a bus from Salt Lake up to Idaho Falls, ID to visit my sister Amy and her family. We had SO MUCH FUN! Apparently, too much fun to remember to take photos. But they have a beautiful home in such an awesome location. It's exactly what I want. We fed ducks at the falls, watched a movie, played games, but mostly we talked and talked and talked. It was so much fun and the time flew by way too quickly except that I was really missing my kids.
Tyler and Emalyn love to play dress ups!
I got to give Krysta a bath shortly before we headed down to Utah. She was being so cute, I thought I'd take a picture.

We hurried down to Kamas to pick up my kids and borrow a car from my wonderful in-laws. Then we hurried to Megan's bridal shower which we were beyond-shamefully late for. It was really late but I couldn't bare being separated from my kids any longer, so I dragged them along with me. It was so so great to see them again. A HUGE 'thank you' to Kevin and Cindy for taking care of them while I played with my sister up in Idaho.

The next morning I hurried to my friend Susan's house to drop off the kids so I could hurry to the Mount Timpanogos Temple (are you catching the theme here? I felt like I was always running behind). But I got to be in the temple with almost all of my family. It was so indescribably great!
After the temple, I went back to Susan's to visit for a bit and to thank her profusely for taking such great care of my kids so I could take advantage of the opportunity to be with my family.
Kayli and Lucas. I told them to make a silly face.
Kayli took this, so it's a little off-centered. But here Susan and I are with the babies. We went to lunch at Wingers before I had to hurry back to my grandparents for the baby blessing of my nephew Matthew.
I was just snapping photos of people in the room and didn't really pay attention to this shot. Can any of my siblings tell me what in the world was being discussed here that is obviously horrific?
The grand kids of talking age sang an impromptu "I Love to See the Temple". So sweet!
My lovely Grandma holding her great-grandson Matthew. And that's my beautiful sister (in-law) Melanie. Matthew's mommy.
My grandpa's health took a turn for the worse around the time we flew into Utah. He was diagnosed with shingles while I was in Idaho and suffered some related difficulties and ended up being hospitalized. This put a bit of a damper on everything, but really it was good timing because so much extended family were there to help out.
This isn't the best lighting, but this was one of a few bizarre games made up by Uncle Weston. My kids ADORE him!
Auntie Jennifer. This girl is amazing! She let us WAAAAAAYYYYYY overcrowd her lovely apartment and took care of all the little ones. Not an easy task.
What were we doing in her apartment all day, you ask? My mom was baking 15 sheets of brownies. Melanie and Belky were making and decorating the cake. I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of it. It was so AMAZING!!! And Amy and I were gluing rhinestones onto the little girls' dresses. Much more difficult than it sounds. It took my about 45 minutes to get the first one on. Fortunately, once we discovered the right technique we were able to go a lot faster.
This is what happens when you completely wipe out a poor little 3-year old. I watched her eyelids droop more and more until in one smooth motion she just rolled over and buried her head in the couch pillows. It was amazing what chaos she slept through after that.
This is when we were halfway done frosting 15 sheets of mint brownies for the reception the next day. The mint layer was purple to match their wedding colors. Then a chocolate layer went on top and finally a pansy petal on each one. They were so pretty. Awesome Idea Award goes to my sister Melanie. We finally finished around 1 AM. That's 3 AM for poor Blake. He was so great to stay up and help even though I kept telling him he could go to bed. And the guy you don't know is some guy named Chris who is friends with Megan and Weston and was also awesome enough to stay up and help.
It was hard to get good shots of the happy couple since their awesome photographer was always in the way. But they were super happy.
Who may now kiss the bride?
The photographer was taking a picture of someone else and telling them to smile, and Elena so graciously obliged. Why can't Kayli be so willing?
People often tell me I remind them of this awesome woman and I am so flattered. I love you, Mom!
Isn't she gorgeous!
Not sure what's up with my face in the background, but that little cutie in my arms is my niece Natalie.
My siblings
The Bride's Maids
My awesome family
One of Blake's beautiful artistic shots.
Thanks to Chris and Rachel for babysitting for us during the ceremony. The kids had so much fun with you!
The wedding ceremony was wonderful. The man who performed it was very knowledgeable and funny and sweet. And big into having the couple kiss. They didn't seem to mind much. Aside from the ceremony, my favorite part of the day was driving in Jennifer's car with my mom and sisters to run some last minute errands. Unfortunately, I cannot share what happened, but it was HIL-AR-IOUS!!! I had such a great time with Jennifer on this trip and have decided to officially adopt her as a sister. She's just too awesome. I hope that's okay with you, Jen!
Sunday we went to church with my parents and David and Belky. Then Blake and I went to visit my grandparents in the hospital. That was a little bit of a difficult visit because it made it difficult to ignore the realities of mortality as I prefer to do. But that was the most time I got to spend chatting with my grandma and I got to hold my grandpa's hand and exchange a hug and a kiss with him.

After that we headed up to Salt Lake for Blake's Grandma Harding's 80th birthday. She looked so beautiful! I really enjoy visiting with her. She is a very sweet lady.
And then on to Kamas to spend a couple days with Blake's family. A huge thank you to my awesome in-laws for taking such great care of us, watching over the kids while I was gone, and providing an all-around great time!
The next day everyone helped with the kids so I could sleep in. I was completely exhausted by this point. Blake's parents own and run an aspen tree farm. It helps their property look very beautiful, but it's a lot of work. Later in the day I helped load one of the trucks full of 1100 trees to be delivered. It was fun because I got to work with Blake and I hadn't really had an upper body workout since I strained my rotator cuff. So, it was very needed. I did all that so that Blake would have time to bike with me while the kids napped. Blake's parents were so kind to let us borrow their super nice bikes (and stylish bike shorts!). We rode nearly 15 miles and it was so excellent! I really needed that experience to help with the triathlon since so far my bike training has been indoors on stationary bikes. I'll have to get a copy of the pictures my in-laws took to show you how stunning we looked! Their bikes have the kind of pedals that you can clip bike shoes into for a better ride. The only problem is, they take a little getting used to because if you start to fall, you have to twist your foot out of the pedal before you can land it on the ground. If you don't do that, you go down right with the bike. So, we practiced in the driveway for a bit and then set out. We made it the whole way without any mishaps. Then, just as we were turning to head up their (steep) driveway and I was busy telling Blake how much I wanted to get a pair of bikes because this was so fun, I realized a little too late that I did not have enough momentum to get up the driveway. So, I went to set my foot down but couldn't because it was stuck in the pedal! I tried to twist it out but it was too late. I was already laughing at myself before I hit the ground. I made it 15 miles only to have this happen at the house?! It wasn't too bad since I was barely moving. Just a little scrape and then a bruise that grew and evolved for a few days after. It looked fairly nasty, but didn't really hurt.
For our last night in Kamas, we decided to see how many people we could fit in the hot tub. And this was before my brother-in-law Austin and I got in. I was the last one in and therefore, the one responsible for making it overflow! We had a lot of fun visiting and watching the grandkids share one can of soda and a whole lot of backwash!
And then Kayli and I got on a plane with my parents to fly to... New York! Who's ready to go home at this point anyway? Blake and Bryce continued their fun in Utah with Blake's family.

Kayli wanted to help plant in my mom's herb garden so she ran down to the grass, plucked a dandylion and ran back up to plant it.
The Newlyweds got arrived very early Friday morning. After a delicious crepe breakfast made by yours truly and a long nap, we enjoyed lunch at the CIA. As in, the Culinary Institute of America. Delicious, as always! And I have no idea what Kayli is doing.
That night Megan, Weston, and I did some Karaoke Something-or-Other on the PS2. I won the first time and Weston won the second time. But it really wasn't fair the second time because they had it grade me at the same difficulty level as it graded them and I'm really not as good. Plus, they kept making me laugh when I was needing to really concentrate hard to hit the low notes in "I've Got Friends in Low Places". Basically, Megan and Weston are cheaters.
Saturday night was the second reception. Our fabulous friend Ann Rawlings came by a few times in the days leading up to it to make my parents home look absolutely beautiful. Thank you, Ann!
We also prepared as much of the dinner in advance as possible--including MORE brownies and Deluxe Potatoes (a.k.a. Funeral Potatoes). So, at two hours until the reception we were sitting on the kitchen floor (the chairs had all been moved into other rooms) playing Candy Land with Kayli and then we all exfoliated our hands with a salt scrub, Weston included, and Megan and I did our nails. This level of relaxation could not have been possible without additional help from Ann again and several women in my parents' ward. And the help of another friend Anna. She would have been my sister in another life, if I believed in that sort of thing. She drove several hours to come help and take pictures.
Kayli sang a solo of "Families Can Be Together Forever", but not before entertaining the crowd with more of her silly antics.
Here she is singing with the beautiful bride looking on. Thanks for taking the pictures while I played the piano, Weston!
After this, we stole some food and made our exit. We got home at about 11 PM, just about a minute after Blake and Bryce had arrived home from the airport. It was late and we were all completely exhausted, but it felt so good to all be together in our home at last!
I'm sure I left things out, but I tried to be as comprehensible as possible. And if there is anyone I forgot to thank--Thank you! So many people helped us in so many ways. I had so much fun. Amazingly enough, it was a nearly perfect trip!
